Verizon Wireless has implemented a discount plan for all Rice University employees. Start the process by entering your Rice email address on this Verizon discount web page:

http://www.verizonwireless.com/discount

If your email address is a valid Rice University employee address, you will be sent to a confirmation screen:

You will then receive an email from Verizon that includes the amount of your discount on calling plans and equipment, plus instructions on how to apply the discount. Clicking "Get Started" will return you to Verizon's website:

Here you will have the choice to open a discounted account with Verizon. If you are currently a Verizon customer, you can apply your discounts directly to your existing account:
